Construction of Geotextile

(1) The geotextile is laid by rolling method in the way of human work. First of all, the flatness of the cloth surface should be ensured. In fact, a certain gap should be left in the construction to ensure the external force deformation allowance of the material.

(2) During the laying of geotextile, the laying methods such as lap joint, welding and seam joint are generally adopted, in which the excuse width of seam joint and welding is more than 10cm, and the interface width should be more than 20cm when the lap joint is adopted. If the project will be exposed for a long time after the completion of the project in the future, it is not allowed to adopt the lap joint method, which must adopt the seam joint and welding. It should also be noted that the stitching of geotextile must be continuous, and the width of overlapping part is not allowed to be less than 15cm before the stitching and overlapping. In the stitching process, the better method is to adopt the locking chain stitch method, and the approved tension of the suture used should be greater than 60N, and the strength and corrosion resistance should be higher than polyester long silk cloth.

(3) At the same time, it should also be noted that after the installation of geotextile, certain protective measures should be taken to prevent dust, soil and other substances from entering the geotextile layer. If there is any needle leakage, the needle leakage part must be re stitched and reinforced.

(4) If the geotextile laying works are carried out on the slope, the high-end end end of the actual slope shall be fixed during the laying process. After the fixation is completed, the geotextile shall be rolled and laid along the slope. After the rolling, the fabric surface shall be in a taut state. If the laying surface is flat, the sand bag shall be used for fixing during the laying process, and the sand bag shall be pressed on a section of geotextile. After the laying, the sand bag cannot be evacuated. The sand bag can not be evacuated until the upper material is laid.
